Welcome to the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma Sex Offender Registration and Tracking website. This website is maintained by the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma Police Department and provides public information on sex offenders required to register in Miami tribal jurisdictions pursuant to Section 113(a) of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (“SORNA”), and pursuant to Section 2.02 of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma Sex Offender Registry Code (the “Code”).
Chapter 2, Section 2.02 of the Code requires that all individuals who reside on property owned by the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma, in fee or trust, or who are employed by the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma on property owned by the tribe, in fee or trust, who have been convicted of any of the offenses listed in Chapter 2, Section 2.02 of the Code or convicted of an attempt or conspiracy to commit any of the offenses listed in Chapter 2, Section 2.02 of the Code, shall be subject to lifetime registration, quarterly verification appearances, and full website posting pursuant to the Code.
